Root Canal

A root canal is recommended when infection or decay has entered into the nerve either by a fracture or a deep cavity into the pulp (soft tissue inside the tooth that contains the nerves, arteries, veins, and lymph vessels of a tooth).

Most endodontic therapy takes 1 to 4 visits.

There may be some discomfort for a day or two afterwards. This is normal. You may need to take pain medications such as Ibuprofen or Tylenol, for any discomfort. However, if the discomfort continues longer than 2 to 3 days, please let us know.
